Patient
Arrival
We ask
that all dogs be on a leash while on hospital
grounds. Even the friendliest of Fidos can become
stressed at the vets office, and may not act like
their usual selves. If your dog prefers privacy
please let our receptionists know and they will be
happy to provide a waiting room.
For your
cats safety we ask that all cats are housed in a
carrier that is comfortable and secure. This
prevents escape in the parking lot, or perhaps
meeting face to face with an unfriendly dog.
If a pet presents symptoms of a possibly contagious
disease, such as coughing, sneezing, or
vomiting/diarrhea, we may ask you to bring your pet
into our isolation room to prevent contagion in the
exam rooms. This is for the safety of your pet
as well as others in the hospital.
