Fur,
feathers, scales, and shells: they are all welcome at Community
Animal Hospital. Dr. Cathy Connelly and Dr. Dawn Hess
pursue a strong
interest in exotic species by attending conferences of the
Association of Avian Veterinarians, the International Conference
on Exotic Animals, and the Amphibian and Reptile Veterinarians
Conference. Both doctors perform soft tissue and
orthopedic surgery as well as advanced endoscopy and ultrasonography on exotic pets. They enjoy treating
all species of reptiles, amphibians, hamsters, rats, mice,
guinea pigs, gerbils, sugar gliders, ferrets, rabbits,
chinchillas, prairie dogs, pot-belly pigs, tarantulas, fish, and
all species of birds. If you are bringing in an exotic pet,
please check out our "Forms" page. By
filling out the appropriate forms ahead of time you can shorten
your wait before your appointment.
